Kids & Cows Family Day is an educational event for all ages and experience levels. There will be educational seminars in the morning followed by Ag Olympics and a fitting contest over the lunch hour. The day will conclude with an open showmanship competition for various age groups followed by breed shows. Cattle are loaned for showmanship for participants without cattle. Showmen with their own halter broke cattle are encouraged to bring them. Registration is preferred.
NEW IN 2024:
1. There will be 2 rings for showmanship and breed shows this year
2. Registered cattle breeds must have 4 head to have their own breed class, otherwise they will be moved to AOB
3. 2 lines for morning check-in for pre-registered and day-of registrants. Pre-registered entries will have back tags assigned to get pre-registered families checked-in faster
4. Pre-register invoices can be paid by card at checkout - no extra invoice emails
5. Day-of registrants will be accepted but will pay more per youth entry and have up to 3 forms to fill out on-site
6. No Refunds
